The End of Free Speech

Up here in Canada we had not long ago a woman banned for speaking to a group sponsored by a Jewish organization on the dangers of Sharia Law. She was the same woman who tried to get the body of a young Muslim girl buried in a Muslim cemetery. The girl was killed by family members who were
" offended ' by her adoption of western views and dress.
Gee that must really hurt to see someone have an opinion that isn't agreeable with a group think??
What happened was that the body of the dead girl was not allowed to be buried in a Muslim cemetery-perhaps the dead bodies would have been offended too? Anyway of all places, Israel accepted her body to be buried. What really made people upset tho was that a certain police chief stated that her views were hateful and possibly I guess leave to an upset confrontation in some way. A Jewish Rabbi was told that if he allowed her to speak that the Rabbi would be banned from being allowed to speak at any Police group in the future-in a chaplain sort of manner. The Rabbi didn't allow her to speak-fear of man seems stronger these days than speaking the truth
In the same article tho it was reported that a speaker for the Palestine liberation organization(PLO) a Known Terrorist group-or " freedom Fighters" as they like to be called these days was going to speak at a University. This particular woman was involve din 2 Airplane Hi-jackings??? Is this the end of free speech???
We seem to be especially in Canada more worried about our cell phone coverage--the state of our sports teams and if political attacks are perhaps insensitive than we are to the fact that one's views can be silenced either by intimidation or a threat
In the early days of the Christian Church(read the Book of Acts-before somebody tried to have it banned for being
" Insensitive")the Christians spoke out the truth of the Gospel even tho the political and even religious leaders of the Jewsih community said
" Don't talk any more about this Jesus"
But it seems today that many people have adopted the idea that like the Book of Acts they don't mind anyone having an opinion as long as it is discussed before hand what they are going to say---such things you hear all the time in so called pure communist police states
I believe that one day even Christians will be persecuted even here in Canada for daring to say even to Muslims and every other religious group
like the early Christians said in Acts 4:12
" Salvation is found in no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved"
WHAT??? Only JESUS is the way to heaven??
throw that verse out
How politically insensitive??--never mind that there are verses in the Koran that talk about getting rid of Jews and Christians and I don't mean banning them from speaking in public either
Given the current wave of many being more worried about offending people and wondering if this will affect my pocketbook I wonder before long when even North Americans will have to choose to risk being persecuted for their beliefs----even if it means jail or death,or simply shut up?
How long before even writers and Poets will be told to stop writing about this or that--you are offending people--you are too romantic--you are too confrontational--you ask questions that may affect our customers in a negative way...prepare yourself-I believe the end of Free Speech if it isn't dead it is surely coming to that day and that is not news BUT that too is Reality
