After the Junior/Young Rider Clinic

Ellen's ride on Maxx after the Clinic
Maxx was glad to see Ellen this afternoon! She tacked him and then went for her dressage lesson. They worked on shoulder-ins and the canter. Pat, her instructor, took it easy on Ellen. I wasn't sure what to expect of Ellen's riding ability today after being kicked by the Halflinger at the Junior/Young Rider clinic, but she did well. Ellen is a bit sore, but is very stoic and marches on.
One thing that Maxx loves about Ellen is her singing. She sings to him when she tacks, when she warms up, and when she cools him down. He watches her carefully moving his ears in her direction. I can't sing and couldn't provide that for him the last three days!
