First Official Review of Collection II

Well, I've posted it. The first official review of Collection II. Not stellar, but workable. I was complemented on my creativity--which is a big plus in this world of same-day-everydays.
The criticism was good--what am I thinking? Why would I write such a thing? Well, because its there to be explored. My work is influenced by Poe, by Stephen King (I've read almost every book), by Anne Rice, Koontz, the works. I also read all of Agatha Christie's books, Nancy Drew, and basically any Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Any book that I could get a hold of and peeked my interest, I read. I think I even read Little Women and my sister tried to get me into Judy Bloom (didn't work). But the most influential novel in my life, which I have read twice, was Perfume by Patrick Süskind. The way that this book was written has influenced most of my work quite thoroughly. I have taken the advice from Stephen Kign's book, On Writing, and have ventured off into reading other realms, like Harry Potter. My favorite all time classics are the Three Musketeers by Dumas and the classical Dracula. I read both as well as the D'Artagnan Romances, as well as Utopia.
Why do I write the way I do? Why do I do the poetry I do? Simple. Life is unpredictible and anything can happen--and we must feel what we write, not just spew any garbage out. That is the premises of my work. I hope to hone my writing skills and create better books and answer this question of "why" so that the mind does not wander as it reads through my work.
In all, I thought it was a pretty fair review and I've learned from it. Please take a gander through it--I've posted it under my books section where Collection II is. It's also posted in ForeWordReviews.com.
