Updates...
7/13/2005 11:07:34 AM    [ Flag as Inappropriate ]

Slowly, I am climbing through the end of my project for "The Balkan Secret Conspiracy". I want it to be perfect, with a perfect end, so I'm not madly writing it, I'm pondering, then writing. After I complete this part, the rest will just fall forward. I don't feel that the ending should be drawn out--readers can't stand that. I sat back and looked at what I've constructed so far, and found that if I overdo the end, it won't finish off so nicely.

There will, however, be a short Epilogue. There has to be; those who read it, will see the importance of it. If I am going the way I am at this point, I should have it completed on my deadline. My difficulties always arise when I want to make the perfect plot--and believe me, I can think of the most outlandish, but very logical plots. These do, however, cause me some hang-ups. Why? because I reiterate everything and say to myself, "does this make sense?" when I'm satisfied, I at that point, write it down.

When its complete, I will leave the manuscript for a couple of weeks before I do my own editing. After that, I'll send it off for a professional edit.

During this two week time, I will work on my other projects. One project I am keeping in the bag; I have leaked it out to two people, who, if they read this, will know what I'm talking about. Only one person knows exactly what my plans are for it, but not the full package. I have to announce the work I am doing on another project; I started it a while back--Summer 2004, and it is written and inspired in the true climatic form old horror writers use to do. My inspiration for this one is from my story, "Good Riddance", but in a new form and different characters. In this one, I can state that I really bright out the reality of horror and psychology of horror into light. The working title at this point is called, "Friends by Another Name".

My sequel to Pawn will be started in the fall/winter. I look forward to updating you all at that point.

I've sent a sample story to Nicholaus, and we'll hopefully soon start our joint project.

What can I say--I love to keep busy.

Till next time...
