Everyone is searching for a perfect soul mate - someone they can trust - someone who understands their every need, their every desire. The perfect chord resounding into an infinite ocean of blessedness. And when we meet this perfect someone what will he or she say? "Sorry, but you see I'm also searching for perfection and you aren't it for me." It's a sad and lonely kind of searching we do when we go to singles bars and ballrooms, etc. in search of our other half.
I think we must first find an inner completion, and then if we meet a special someone we will find eternity reflected in their eyes...But it will be our own eternity we see in that clear pool of ethereal light, and it will be our own symphony of splendor that we hear in the shadows of night, or in the raindrops that splash over rooftops.
