Creative process gone overboard

Is there such a thing as coincidence?

As usual yesterday, I went along to the university library before I started teaching my MA class. I took back nine of my eleven books back and got out eight more. Earlier in the day I had been doing some work for a paper at a postgraduate conference at the University of Portsmouth in November. I am trying to pin down the creative process by linking it to the archetypal three brothers, which in turn refer to some extent to the ego / superego / id theory of Freud. I was lloking at an article I'd saved form an earlier edition of Mslexia. The article mentioned the work of Dr Mihaly Csikszentmihaly.
I searched for my books on adolescence. They were where I had expected them to be. Something made me turn round before I left the section. There on the shelf was the very books mentioned in the article.
Had I seen it out of the corner of my eye? It was almost as if someone had tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Look at this before you go."
Even more bizarrely now, I cannot find the original article, though I was looking at it again last night.
