Howard, Larry and Virgie
3/13/2007 2:15:13 PM
No we’re not talking about the three stooges. Close but no cigar.

The fights in the Bahamas are still going on over Dannielynn’s custody, moving the graves to Texas, and now another chapter has been added. The house Anna Nicole lived in, and where Howard and the baby now reside, was sold to Anna Nicole for $75,000. I don’t know whether she paid the sum outright or took a mortgage. However, since the landlord is seeking to evict Howard, it mist be a mortgage.

Howard is fighting the eviction though Heaven knows where he’ll obtain the funds to make monthly payments on the house. In fact, his attorney here in the U.S. says she cannot represent him in the Bahamas because she has no jurisdiction in their courts. Therefore, he’s using another attorney in court in the Bahamas. I don’t know how Howard’s attorneys are being paid unless their work is all Pro Bono.

Anyway, as I understand, it takes a long time to evict someone in the Bahamas, same as in the States, so perhaps the DNA will be reported by then and Howard will win, affording him the funds to stay in the house. As an item of interest: there was an official on Court TV this morning speaking from the Bahamas who said he believes Larry is the father, not Howard. Did this official peek at the DNA results? Who knows? I feel as though we’re in the middle of a suspense movie only this has sure taken longer than two hours. But don’t give up. Maybe we’ll know by the time Dannielynn is ready for kindergarten.

Top Marine General is a Class A Jerk

Marine General Peter Pace has likened homosexual acts to adultery and said the military should not condone it by allowing gays to serve openly in the armed forces. Pace also muttered that homosexuality is immoral. And boy was he ever throwing a hissy fit on the late night news on TV. Pace has a strong baritone voice, stands erect and vehemently states his opinion to all who would listen. As I watched him strut his stuff while spewing out hatred on TV, I wondered if he was in denial. You know, he that doeth protest too much. He might still be in the closet and ashamed someone will find out so he damns all the homosexuals. Well, Peter, most vets were happy to have homosexuals serve on the front lines. A man is next to you with a gun and he’s watching your back and you’re helping each other to survive, you think anyone gives a damn if he’s gay or not? The man is not wearing a skirt, buddy. He’s holding a weapon and he’s fighting a war. And believe it or not, gays are decorated soldiers who excel in times of stress same as the straights. As a further note: most professional athletes do not care if gays are on their teams and in their locker rooms or not. This came to light this month when more professionals came out of the closet. So, Peter, whoever said you were such a man lied. It takes a man to accept everyone as they are, and all of your protesting speaks of a hatred and loathing that doesn’t belong in the military or anywhere else. So hang it up and shut up.

Child Killer is Sure Getting Lots of Sympathy

There were many talks on Court TV about the crayon coloring John Couey who was convicted of First Degree Murder for killing Jessica Lundford two years ago in Florida. Couey is allegedly mentally retarded so he’s allowed to color in court with his crayons. Ain’t that special? He’s the man who was a next door neighbor of the Lundford family. He kidnapped Jessica, hid her in his home for three days while he constantly raped and molested her, then he wrapped her in two black, plastic, garbage bags and buried her alive. Police did not find her fragile, battered body for three weeks. Now, after two years, the monster has been found guilty and the big discussion is—do we execute him or sentence him to life without? Florida is a state where the death penalty is still on the books.

We’ve seen Psychologists who’ve testified that Couey’s average is above 70. Anything below 70 is mental retardation and the Supreme Court stated that it’s cruel and unusual punishment to execute someone who is mildly retarded. He buried her alive. Anyway, Couey registers above 70 and at times reaches 80. He can read and write so he doesn’t qualify for an exemption. However, an attorney on Court TV stated that since he was only after children, and being in jail for the rest of his life he’ll only meet adults, we should take pity on the guy. He buried her alive.

Now all sorts of shrinks and other noted experts are on the stands daily testifying to the jury, who’s trying to reach a decision regarding Couey’s life, that the man deserves a break. He buried her alive. Then we had Susie Arnette, his sister, testifying on the stand that her brother reminded her of a puppy as a child. He was so cute and cuddly. He buried her alive. Susie also testified that Couey’s mother couldn’t handle him so his was shifted around to the rest of the family. This was after the ‘puppy’ tried to rape his sister, Susie. The ‘puppy’ was often shifted between family members, mostly after he tried raping one of their girls. Even as a child he hid behind his intelligence or lack of it. And he went on to bury a child alive.

Anyway, a ballot was taken on Court TV regarding the following question—should mentally challenged defendants be eligible for the death penalty? 78% of those who voted said yes.

I personally hope and pray he gets life without. See, prisoners have children and people like Couey are not welcome among them. Couey will get his butt royally kicked every day of his life until he learns what torture is all about. To me, that would be the final punishment for a man who buried a child alive.
