Virtuous and Vicious Argument
Metro-Dade Transit Thought for Today: The fact of the matter is that the teachers in the ancient Torah schools beat boys who did NOT question the Torah, for they knew very well that people who do not argue remain ignorant hence generally stupid. Virtuous argument is like rubbing two sticks together to start a fire so both may see things in a new and same light. This is not the vicious heated argument that ignores the other side and beats it FOR arguing in an attempt to render it intimidated, insecure, and stupid. David
