Random Poem - as the juices flow

this is being blogged as it comes to me...so be kind!
I saw you get off the bus today
Your hair was a mess and your smile made my day
You ran with the others off to home for milk and cookies
I watched as you got closer and my heart skipped a beat
It quickly shattered when you ran past me
To a mom up the street
I waited and waited but the bus just drove away
You never got off today; you never came back to me
I looked up to Heaven and asked Him to send you home
You could not have died for you were too full of life
Just barely 13
Dying is for the tired, weak and old
Not for a mother's young son
I don't know why I do it
Again I sit
Waiting for the bus
Maybe next time it Will Be You
Running towards my arms
I Miss you Michael, I miss you all the time....I have to go, the bus is coming...

Dedicated: to my best friend, it has been over 10 years but we still yearn for him to get off the bus.
