Blurbs and blogs and slopping hogs
That’s what life is made of…
Okay that was a little crude.
I’m sure it is because I’ve spent way too much time in this chair looking outside instead of being outside. Watching the weeds take over tends to make me a little irritable. I don’t hate “weeds” as a matter of fact I give them room to grow, I don’t even fuss when they invade the yard if they keep their selves to a minimum but they don’t settle for that. No, these weeds are invaders, conquerors and spoilers. But tomorrow we fight! Hand to hand, no chemical warfare – just me against them. Yeah, we already know how that’s gonna go. I’ll drag in with a sore back and calluses, they’ll retreat guerrilla style mocking my efforts. This brings me back to the original reason for writing this and the limerick.
I am using up my free e-book giveaways for this month, taking a break away from the keyboard and doing some yard work. If any one soul on God’s green earth is interested I’m posting the list and my website address.
