On September 21, 2003 Amazon.com Sponsor Links appeared for seven Jay Dubya titles on Yahoo, MSN, Lycos and AllTheWeb search engines. The seven title are: Enchanta, Space Bugs, So Ya Wanna Be A Teacher, Ron Coyote, Pieces of Eight, Thirteen Sick Tasteless Classics and Leather and Denim (for Black Leather and Blue Denim).
Amazon.com, through Overture has created the seven Sponsor-Links. For example, if someone types in Space Bugs, an Amazon.com advertisement link for Space Bugs immediately appears at the top or at the right side of the webpage listings. The terms and conditions for establishing Sponsor Links are given at the top of the webpage near the link itself. On AllTheWeb, for example, over 2 million links are listed for Space Bugs, and Space Bugs by Jay Dubya is listed number one as a Premium or Sponsored Link. Needless to say, this wonderful discovery yesterday really made my day without the services of Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry.
As of October 11, 2003, Amazon.com is promoting through Sponsor Links TEN of Jay Dubya's books on SIX major Search engines.
The six search engines are:
Yahoo, MSN, Alta Vista, Lycos, IX Quick Search, and AllTheWeb
The TEN titles are:
The Eighteen Story Gingerbread House, Black Leather and Blue Denim, Ron Coyote, Thirteen Sick Tasteless Classics, Pieces of Eight, Space Bugs, Enchanta, The Wholly Book of Genesis, The Wholly Book of Exodus, So Ya Wanna Be A Teacher
