Noble author's attempts to get his novel into the hands of a good independent filmie.

I want this down for posterity (or posterior, depending on the result), as we independent authors must find the time and inspiration to inspire other independent authors in their pursuit of truth, justice and the American dollar!

I am trying to now send out direct email "press releases" to independent filmmakers to get some buzz going on my novel, Sins of Darkness, a conspiracy story about the assassination of RFK in '68.  Yes, I know.  Oliver Stone did JFK, so how am I supposed to interest anyone in an RFK story?  Well, the Golden Globe Nominated RFK Second Gun Expose by Ted Charach is one reason.  Also, I personally interviewed many psychiatrists to come to the conclusion that programmed assassination is a possible and very likely scenario in the instance of this case.

Bookmanmarketing's lead writer, Brien Jones, will be working with me to draft the press release to this indies (500 of them), and then we'll be crossing our collective fingers and toes to see if any of the fish bite.  My story isn't set entirely in the past.  In fact, it has a modern angle of "muscle-man politician" (a la Jesse Ventura and, the recent candidacy of Arnold "The Terminator" in California fiasco lottery).  I hope to hook these indies in either the historical angle or the modern political subtrifuge/satire angle.

I'll be publishing the result on this blog so you can read our combined effort.  In addition, I'll keep you up-to-date as to the results of our "fishing expedition."  Power to the writer!  Power to the writer!  Amen.
