step 2: where'd I leave my Diet RC?

winter mornings are tough, as the air is dry and the room is cold and my joints ache and my head is stopped up. at least until I get up and move around. I now concede that I have probably cleaned out all Diet Rc currently in stock in the greater Morgantown area. and the fine folks at Seagrams/SevenUp/DrPepper/RC are in no hurry to get more to this area, so I am back on my second choice...Diet DrPepper, which is great stuff, but contains that evil antiChrist of all artificial sweetners, aspartame.
and I thought the guys who stuck dioxin in the Ukrainian candidate's soup were evil.

anyway the who and what and where and when and how. strange day for the books yesterday. Got a nice note from a high muckety-muck with the state board of education, praising my eloquence during my rambling, disjointed and second-tier blurb at the WV Board of Education meeting last week. Mojo is still in a pawn shop somewhere outside of Granada Hills. will have to work on building a new one.
had a nice talk with the lead singer for a local band I am going to be doing some lyrics for. then with all other members of the band. got some ideas. even broke my hours-old moratorium on new writing. damn. I'm easy.
Cabaret Voltaire had its final chat on Sunday. the end of an era.
I've decided to dedicate "Invocato" to my children and their mother. Jan and I do not get along, and she hates my guts (and I understand that, a very human thing considering how gracelessly I retook my freedom) but she has worked her butt off for the kids. they all deserve a round of applause. okay, those of you who fainted can get up now.
the older I get, the more experienced, the less people surprise me, for good or ill. I need to find someone who is a revelation (well, and attractive, articulate, talented and hypersexual...I'm not too fussy after that...except they need to be appreciative, honest...leggy would be nice but will trade that for chemistry). and chaos has always been a drug to me (maybe I'll see if there is a church of Arioch in town). well, that and caffeine.
