Your so vain! 7/14/2006 7:37:35 AM The lyrics to a song:
Your so vain! You think this is all about you! Don't you? Don't you?
I want to blog my own feelings, which are nothing to do with anyone else. After all, if you point a finger, 4 are pointing back. I am using this to examine me, no one else.
I am also a person that examines myself in any situation. I do not explode on others, until I have found my own part to play in any situation. For this, I have been harshly judged and it opens the eyes to oneself.
There is only one person who can change self...that is Self! It is time to make some serious changes and find the path that best suits to accomplish this change. After all, we all live in glass houses. Throw stones and they will break our own house.
There is much support in groups that can see from the higher perspective, when they are not caught up in the situation. I sincerely thank those who have opened my eyes to some ideas on ego, spirit, spirituality, Spiritualism, etc. etc. The dialogue in many quarters has been interesting and informative.
As I see it, we all accept these ideas through our own perspective. When that is caught up in our own ego, we don't look far enough beyond self. That is my lesson!
The Attitude of Three Hairs
===========================
There was once a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the
mirror and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
"Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today," so she did
and she had a wonderful day.
The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw she had
only two hairs on her head.
"HMM," she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle
today," and she did and she had a grand day.
The next morning she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw she
had only one hair left on her head.
"Well," she said, "Today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony
tail." So she did and it was a fun, fun day.
The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that
there wasn't a single hair on her head.
"YEAH!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!"
Remember you may not be able to control what someone says or
does or some of the situations that life throws you, but you can
sure control the way you react.
