You want to be more healthy, eat more plants and less animals and the benefits of exercise
Allright you people the weather is getting cooler, no more excuses. Time to hit that gym, time to take those long walks. It was like an oven last week but now its getting drastically cooler. Marcus says he's about 10 pounds overweight and is trying to knock of those pounds before he goes back to his teaching job in a little over a month. So he is hitting the gym and starving himself a little and I know a lot of you Authorsden authors probably need to do the same.
Remember:
You can't lose weight sitting in front of the boobtube or 'surfing the Net' when you should be exercising.
You can't lose weight eating out at any restaraunt unless you have a small portion 'diet dish.'
'Chinese food' and 'salad bars' can be just as fattening as a Denny's 'grand slam' or going to McDonalds.
You can't lose weight eating a lot of snacks even if you diet with your regular meals.
You can't lose weight going to a movie theater and eating 'buttered popcorn.'
You can't lose a lot of weight doing a few situps and walking a mile a day
OK my health tips
Like I said in the title at 35 or 40 or 50 or maybe any age you need to replace the cheeseburgers and hot dogs with asparagus and apples. I'm not saying be a strict vegetarian but it is a proven researched fact that eating more plant food and less animal food keeps the doctor away and makes you live a little bit longer. I'm not saying turn into a bunny rabbit. I enjoy a juicy steak once in a while but eat animal products more moderately. Face it when your 40 and you got a 37 inch waist or hips you ain't 20 anymore when you had a 25 or 30 inch waist or hips. You can't eat 2 or 3 cheeseburgers and french fries and drink a milkshake any more. You have to eat two or three pieces of cauliflower and brocolli and down it all with mineral water.
The are other benefits of exercise besides keeping your heart healthy and your weight down
The benefits of exercise is that it helps keep your 'immune system' strong
The benefits of exercise is that it decreases aging due to fewer 'free radicals'
The benefits of exercise is that it makes you smarter due to more oxygen in your bloodstream and thus you have a healthier brain
The benefits of exercise is that it gives you greater 'lung capacity'
The benefits of exercise is that it helps strengthen your muscles and bones
OK hopefully these health tips are helpful to you. Next time I may be a rich and fanous health guru and charge for my advice. I'm just as talented and knowledgeable as any of those fitness and diet gurus out there.
