The meeting I mention in my last entry took place on Saturday 16th February 2008. It was a meeting of the Devon & Cornwall branch of the "Scientific & Medical Network" (SMN). As well as local members of the SMN there were representatives from Schumacher College in the audience. Myself and Bill Murtha, also a member of IONS, presented a 'double-header' talk - one that Bill and I had also presented at the Manchester SMN last year. Bill described his amazing Near-Death Experience and encounter with his own Higher Self (what I term The Daemon) whilst drowning and suffering from hypothermia in the sea of the south coast of England. Bill's experiences are described in his book "Dying To Live" which will be published later this year. I then followed that with a presentation of my "Cheating The Ferryman" theory. What is interesting that Bill experienced every element of CTF in the time he was in the sea. A fascinating but obviously subjective vindication that CTF really offers a new and challenging idea as to what may happen to human consciousness at the point of death.
