Work Out!!

I definitely believe seniors have become themselves, they go full steam ahead!!
Ok, so I NEVER did set up the wireless. Blah, blah, blah....I know, get crackin'!
I've been rather busy, re-arranging my wee spot on this earth. Gotta make it MY little comfort zone, a place to return after day out! Speaking of day out...well, I went to my exercise class! I have to say I am put to the test each week that I go.
You see, this class is comprised of young and old alike and boy, do those elderly women give me a run for my money!! I admire this age group, having lived through so many years, yet here they are bright and chipper on a Monday morning!! They are all smiles, anxious to begin with what the came for EXERCISES!! Most people cringe at the very thought of having to do exercises, but not these gals! Ohhhhhh nooooooo, they are rip roaring, ready to go!
Oh, they chatter away to one another, but heck they're entitled to it, afterall they DID make it to class. I stand alongside them and begin the hour's workout! We start with warm-up exercises to loosen the bones, then move onto a medium speed.......ok, so I'm doing good here. Not sweating enough yet to take off the sweatshirt until......oh.... here we go!! We've moved into high speed, dancing, stretching, moving all parts of our bodies.....waking up those bones! Shew, sure is gettin' hot!! Maybe it's about time I shed my heavy sweat top. Ahhhhhh, there..just my T shirt and joggers.. Yup, I'll be able to keep up the pace now.
Wha-a-a-at?? None of the ladies are sweating! You should see them move!! I act as cool as I can until up behind me I hear a raspy voice ask, "You can't keep up with us old gals?" I turn and there smiles the sweetest elderly woman. She looks at me with just a hint of teasing. I return the smile, puffing myself up and wink before I take off at high speed!!
Well, I must say these ladies sure know how to make a gal do a workout! I'm glad I have them to keep me on my toes. I only hope that when I reach their age I'll be able to whisper to some younger gal, "Race ya!"
Gotta go rest my weary body. I bet all those ladies are plum-tuckered out, sleeping soundly right about now! Take care all and keep fit!! Advice from some very happy, healthy seniors!!
