You're Never Too Old

A gift given to a dear friend who has real spunk!
Hello my friends,
I firmly believe you REALLY are NEVER too old to be curious, willing to try new things, and become more open-minded.
Now I didn't think much about the above, but two people have taught methis valuable lesson. One being my Mom, her whole life has taken a wonderful twist. She's enjoying things in life that at one time she could only dream about doing in the past.
The second is a dear friend I've known for quite sometime. You see she has such a curious nature. I love her for that. She's in her 70's and she's often mentioned on one of our many shopping trips about "always wanting to TRY on a thong." She wanted to really see what the big deal was with this petite garment.
Well, I decided with Valentine's Day fast approaching I would purchase a thong for her!! She can now say she is "hip" with todays young crowd!! When I gave her the neatly wrapped box, she said with a hint of excitement, "I think I KNOW what's in here." It was fun just to see her smile and I'm sure she will take her new gift and show it to all her elderly friends.
I hope she feels 50 yrs. young if just for a few minutes!! You're NEVER too young to try something new..umm...within reason..........lolololol!
