USA - here comes the Evil Lord

Its next week - where does the bloody time go??
On Friday next week I get on a plane and fly out to Denver Colorado.
'Castle Rock' to be more precise. I know theres more than one Castle Rock but I can only really go where the flights are headed that I booked months ago. Its near the Rockies. I'm taking my laptop and camera. I'll be there 8/9 days and look forward to having a time of 'empty headedness'.
The past few months have been so hectic that I have lost sight for the moment of what I was up to. Thats not a bad thing don't get me wrong, I was headed for burnout the way things were going. You can only hammer your dreams so long before you need a break.
It has helped me greatly that I have met a wonderful girl and for the first time in years, the Jackster is content just to 'be and do' rather than 'bludgeon and strive'.
Ali - 'Stand back, I'm a vet nurse' - has helped me in more ways than I think she knows and I look forward to each and everytime we get together. The days away will be hard, but most of you writers will know, melancholy is like petrol for the word machine. I'll take it and make it something good to bring back. When I come back there are big changes to be made.
Some of you know the Evil Lord is reaching 30, not that I'm attaching any real significance to it, there are just some things I want to do or have done around this land mark year. Falling in love again, *tick*, hehehe, covered! But there are other things to do that some of you know about.
Witness: The White Volume will be in bookshops by the end of this year, God only knows its been hard work because Diggorypress have such major email problems its often weeks before I get answers...if I get them at all.
