How Bout A Little "Humble Pie"?

HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN HOW TO BAKE IT?
I'm about to cut loose with what I think so if you can't stand the heat get on out of my kitchen now.
The way I see it, Jesus Christ, the one Christians are supposed to love and pattern their lives after, was the most powerful and yet the most humble man who ever lived.
When I hear supposed "Christian" leaders advocating or defending torture and war and wagging tongues of hatred at those who disagree with them it makes me wonder if they even know the one they claim to speak for. When I hear them call for bloodshed and destruction, with a policy of "kill them before they kill us," it sickens me. I have, believe it or not, read the Bible from time to time and I never read anything of that nature coming out of the mouth of Jesus.
He never said, "Come on boys let's bomb the governor's palace and take back our country." Or let's pluck out some eyes and pull some teeth, stone all the whores and other sinners, crucify all the Romans before they crucify us." He never said, "Go ahead Peter, take that sword and cut out the high priest's heart, get him before he gets us," or, "Lets label and eradicate all those who don't support our position, we need to hate our ememies, do terrible things to those who hate us." When his disciples wanted to kill some men who did not support the agenda of Jesus he told them that they had no idea what spirit was controlling their spiteful and violent thoughts!
Are some of you reading a Bible that portrays Jesus as saying those kind of hate-filled things? Does it still have the title "HOLY BIBLE"?
I think it's time to bake and eat a little humble pie. I read somewhere that there is only one who is qualified to look down on others and he did it from a cross. Are you more qualified than him and just because you call yourself by his name does that give you permission to uphold hate and destruction, not only of foreign ememies but of your countrymen who have different opinions than yours? The saddest emigma I know are "militant" followers of the "Prince Of Peace".
Go ahead and hate me, go ahead and blast me in thought or word. I claim nothing of religious affiliation or spiritual leadership. I am just an everyday person expressing my thoughts because this is still America and I still have a right to speak my mind. How long I will have that right only God knows but it doesn't take a genius to see this country is headed toward fascism and suppression of most freedoms including freedom of speech.
And just remember this, governments will use religious people as long as it suits their purpose to seize more power and then when they are done with you, you yourself will have your freedoms taken and you just may find yourself being waterboarded too.
