Communtity Support / Local and Beyond 12/23/2008 1:15:05 PM Our campaign to aid in the fight against homelessness in Victoria, BC, Canada is in the midst of assembly for the action committee. We stiil need more members to help carry out these tasks to run a successful campaign. Even if you are half way around the world you still can be active by becoming an associate members of (B-POTS) 'Become Part Of The Solution'. Many people have little faith in themselves that they are only one person. What can I do to make a difference. It can be as easy as standing up and being counted towards a worthy cause.
There are people who have their own lives and are limited as to what they can do for our neighbours. This is very understandable and respected as a priority.
This is why our organization is so flexable. It does not matter how little or how much you contribute to our cause to help end homelessness, it is important that you care.
There is strength in numbers. We are overwhelmed with idle chatter, it is time to put those words into action. Standing up for your beliefs is a gift that we all have. To share this gift with others is priceless.
There is no such thing as doing too little. We have a network set-up on the net where you can register as a supporter from where ever you are in the world and commuicate with others who support the same cause.
This participation is very powerful and should not be underestimated. This can be as simple as 5 or 10 minutes of your time and a few clicks of the mouse to become an active member of society.
We get back what we put in. Do not expect change to happen if you are not willing to do something about it. If your participation is large or small, it is very much appreciated and necessary.
The B-POTSC website was developed with you in mind. We all cannot participate within the community as much as we would like to, but there are options. Many of us spend quite a bit of time in front of our computers any, a few minutes communicating with others who share your sentiments can be very rewarding personally.
These concerns are not just limited to Victoria, BC. It is a worldwide issue that must be addressed with authority. Check out http://bpotsc.mutiply.com. If you are interested, please register today.
