Here's two gals...one likes to cook ...the other likes to eat...A perfect pair joining up to make a cookbook we would like to share with you all. We are working hard to get it done, be watching for it out before the fall. We'll drop a little nibble now and then, get ready...
Just country Cooking
My best friend Cherie, and I are putting together a cookbook chock full of the best eating you can put your mouth too. Recipes from grandmas, great aunts, and mothers who really knew how to make everything delicious with great aplomb. Sometimes whipping up a tasty dessert from practically nothing but imagination. Growing up during the depression days we were privey to a lot of things different than what the youngsters of today are accustomed too. Moms were in the kitchen cooking, Dads were bringing home the bacon. There was a famous saying by the man of the house..."I'll make the living...you make the living worthwhile..." Those were the rules we lived by "back in the good ole days". So pay close attention...I will be posting updates on the cook book from time to time...it will be called...."Home Cooking on the Range" what I learned at my mothers knee and other joints...
