Aggression! 10/6/2008 9:52:42 AM An article to the local paper Aggressions!
Puppy mills, should we have them?
Should we have chambers of torture?
Should we keep slaves that are mute?
Can’t call for help, except cry,
Can’t be heard unless listened to, by a compassionate being,
What of those that lack compassion, people that raise them in the most God awful places, just to satisfy their greed for money, should we not, as a compassionate society curtail such a God awful practice?
Breeding creatures over and over again, keeping them in unsanitary pens, showing minimum affection, if at all,
Producing anxiety ridden and ill specimens that cost future owners’ unneeded excessive vet bills?
The list goes on…
Pet stores, should there be such places?
Should there be slave markets? (Still)?
The trade in creatures, why? For (Money) why?
Should there be not a whole new mindset, a new way of thinking, to satisfy this need, for human and their need of companionship of other (Creatures)?
Should we use them as mere toys, slaves, or ornaments?
Should we allow them to satisfy their sexual natures?
Having made them depended on us for their survival?
Should we not in a civilized society, have appropriate laws?
to reign in this abuse?
Millions of pets and creatures are euthanized each year, for lack of proper laws, respect, caring and compassion.
We call it compassion to put them out of their miseries, instead of real compassion to regulate proper laws to stop excessive greedy breeding.
Every pet for lack of better available other ways should be tagged permanently, to know who and what and where its life has taken turns.
If we’d find a human body in a gas chamber, or murdered on the street, or that has died in bed, we know, and if not we find out and want to know this persons life path, don’t we?
That life we attach a value to, so that only in the meanest cases murder and mayhem is not random.
Value is the question, what value to you place on your soul, on life, on the life of others, if they be human or whoever?
At this moment I could expand from pets to other creatures, the impact of our value system is in dire disarray, and we are beginning to find that we, as I said, need a new mindset.
The unnecessary murder of our unwanted pets, I feel, would soon be stilled, if one would have to attend a few sessions of the murder chambers, the chambers of apparent compassion.
Education should start as early as a child has that natural feeling for a pet’s companionship, school classes should be on guided tours of such horrible killing grounds.
The newly educated generation at voting age, would soon demand, leadership of their politicians in providing enlightened legislation to stop this extreme violence against those they would love to hold dear.
This should be a prerequisite if, we do insist that we are the most enlightened species on this planet, and deserve an extra value standard should it not? If at all!
Do you care? I am certain most people do, are you willing to
Stand up for those that cannot speak for themselves?
Start now to ask your politicians where they stand; you might have a chance to help alleviate some awful suffering.
Bless you all! Jasmin Horst E.P. Seiler
