So many of our life lessons come in whispers. They appear like a stranger in the night and quietly follow us like a shadow until we develop the consciousness to see then fully. Until then we are destined to see their presence over and over again in our lives. It only takes that moment of silence to understand their call.
Our lives are so busy (so we say) that we just don't have time to hear and see what to others would be an obvious lesson. We scurry here and there with our minds deep in thought. We hear little outside of our inner babble and only when confronted with a moment in time where for whatever reason life hands us a dead end and we must in spite of ourselves see the lesson before us.
How does that manifest itself? Perhaps we find ourselves being sneaky in our dealings with others only to find out they knew all along of our tendency to deceive and because of that whatever 'deal' we were orchestrating fails. How about losing job after job after job and wondering what was wrong with all those bosses? Think about all the sneaky ways the IRS can be fooled only to discover numerous audits lie before you. A close friend dies suddenly without you being able to be with him/her. At that event you become focused on the fragility of life and see beyond your years the need to give time and become thankful for each person close to you.
What lessons have you seen lately in your life? When did you discover that lesson and in what circumstances did you find yourself when that lesson appeared? How did you handle the situation? Did you freeze and become stuck in your development or did you heed the lesson and remove it from your future life?
Look around at all the people you know who seem to find themselves making the same mistake over and over again. Why do you suppose that happens?
It only take awareness to unscramble the mystery code of each lesson. It only takes on moment of silence, one moment of stopping the chaos of your world, one moment of saying "yes, I can see that" to change the course of your life. When will you take the time each day to listen to your life lessons and become free?
