Respect - fact or fake

Hi all,
Everyone here still treats me with a great amount of respect. However, the lack of respect is a major issue between the employees. It seems as if they can turn the respect on and off at will depending on who they are talking to. I have come to the conclusion that the respect you see and hear is really fake. I'm guessing that most of you already knew that.
