In "SINS OF THE ABUSED", you will follow the grooming process that allows a priest to destroy the soul of a young innocent, twisting him into a young man trying to fill the void he is left with, when the abuser is no longer in his life, with alcohol, narcotics and sex.. The abusing priest moves on to abuse other young boys and possibly young girls.
This amazingly candid account of 'Marco's' life and the consequences he must face in the wake of his abuse illustrates the far reaching effects abuse has on the abused and all those around them. His attempts to recover and regain a normal life are heart wrenching and have devastating effects on his several families as well as his professional life. The shame and humiliation he endures in his young life follows him into adulthood.
This account should dispel any notion that the abused individual is the only one who suffers due to the trauma. In fact, the whole of our society feels the after effects and pays the price as well as the individual and all who are in contact with them. How much and how many setbacks can one person endure and still climb out of the abyss?
