A Piece of My Heart

This collection of short stories and essays is a peak inside my heart and reflects my personal struggles with issues of faith, forgiveness, the role of the divine, and the possibility of an existence beyond this physical life.
WHO IS MY BROTHER? asks the question, “Do our actions and the choices we make in this life, follow us beyond our mortal existence? And, is redemption offered to everyone?”
CHRISTMAS ANGELS DON'T ALWAYS HAVE WINGS, delves into the question of forgiveness.
A CROWN OF THORNS, explores issues of faith and our humanity.
All the stories and essays in this collection truly come from a place deep within my heart and soul.
Hurray for long weekends! My loving wife finished editing A Piece of My Heart. We decided to take out the fourth short story titled, The Knife. So, I will post that one on my website (www.greggumkowski.com) as a free download, sometime soon.
As far as the rest of the collection, I am hoping that my good friend and publisher, Jeanne Treat, will have the time this weekend to help me get the collection formatted and submitted to the printer. With luck, I should have the proof in my hands in the next two weeks.
