Doing the Snoopy Dance

What were your big milestones on the road to publication?
There are so many terrific milestones on the run-up to publication for any debut author. And most of these have had me jumping up and down, befuddling my toddlers and dogs. My toddlers join in the dance and look at me like I'm a Fun Ball. My dogs look at me like I'm crazy. (I'm actually a mix of both.)
There's the first time you find your book on Amazon. Woo!
The first time you get a good review. Woo Woo!
"Beautifully written, compellingly crafted, Janeology lures the reader into a world that few of us understand, but all of us need to know. This affecting story, with its brilliant array of genial, selfish, troubled, and plucky characters, accomplishes a wonderful feat by revealing specific and universal truths within all families." óDonald T. Phillips, best-selling author
The first time you hear from your publisher that your book is being picked up by libraries nationwide. Wa Wa Wooo!
And today, the first time you get confirmation from Amazon that your books are actually being shipped. WOO! WOO! WOO!
What were some of your favorite publishing milestones that had you doing the Snoopy Dance, too?
