Adversity.
For many women adversity, in the form of
drug addiction, family abuse, spousal abuse, alcoholism,
poverty, mental illness, physical illness, obesity
is an excuse to become a victim
and
remain victims for years and years.
For many other women, adversity has become a means to survive with a strong desire to rise above the adverse situation and land squarely on their feet...
