Secrets of the Dairy Industry - Links fixed
2/18/2009 1:39:34 PM
I recently read the following articles and was so moved, I felt it was time to shed some light into some dark corners because maybe you didn't know. Most of us don't, secrets are designed that way.

I would like to let you know I have been an organic vegetarian since 2005.  Over these past 3 yrs step by step I've learned to let go of the brain washing involved with food.  Trust me food is big business world wide, and anywhere a profit motivates...disharmony to the whole is compromised.

The dairy industry is my topic here.

Did you know...in order to produce milk a cow must get pregnant, deliver a calf and then be seperated from it in order for her to have milk.  So not only is the mother cow distressed from the loss of her calf, the calf is disgarded and slaughtered,  often in uncaring and horendous conditions.

Monsanto (a name that should make anyone cringe, as their idea of genetic modification of everything they touch is in complete disharmony with everything natural upon this planet)

"Monsanto and the FDA forced onto the US market the world's first GE animal drug, recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH, sometimes known as rBST)."

guess what is in your Starbuck Latte's ???

and finally here and now 2009, the dairy industry is hurting in the downturned economy.  Consumers are buying less, cutting food budgets, and costs are increasing for dairy farmers.  What to do when you can't feed your cow...you send it to slaughter, young old, no matter...cut the herd, and their babies too.

Oh, and I'd like to share since I began my awareness in 2005.  My last headcold was in 2006.  I have been cold and flu free nearly 3 yrs.  It does make you stop and think about it.  What are you putting in your body?

Science is learning more and more about cellular structure.  Not only do you absorb the chemicals fed to animals, you also absorb the suffering it endured.  Suffering  is also embedded into its cells...try swallowing that.

May there be more light shed into the dark places that torment this world, please wake up.

Blessing you with health,

Debby
