Cancer & Sugar

Heard last week that sugar & cancer are not a good mix.
It's finally a nice day here (Winnipeg) and I am going outside to play. However, it has been on my mind lately about what I heard on one of the Hay House Radio shows. 'That sugar feeds cancer cells. It gives the cancer the fuel it needs to grow.'
I wish I had known this years ago when my friend Lynn passed away from breast cancer. She was eating sweets like crazy.
Deepak Chopra says that cancer cells are stupid. They do not know how to shut off. Most cells are born and die quickly and that is why we are mostly a brand new person every year. Over 90% of our body has been replaced by new cells.
Anyhow, I know a lot of you out there are interested in knowing more information about how to help yourself or others in the area of health so that is why I am talking about this today.
Wayne Dyer has a new book coming out called "Excuses Begone" and was on the Ellen show yesterday talking about sugar. He only consumes 20 grams a day. Within a month he lost 17 pounds and got rid of that extra fat he had around his middle. He said that today we consume over 200 grams a day. Can't remember the exact # but it is high.
I wonder if we all did what Wayne is doing, that our rates of cancer would subside as well? I watched the Farrah Fawcett special last week and they kept showing her eating making all these pies and I got an ill feeling in my stomach about it. Then I heard about the sugar connection on Hayhouse. My oh my!
