Help, the sky is falling! 4/29/2009 9:56:09 AM Okay, dumb title but this is mine. Several weeks ago, I asked advice of my trackers as to whether I should take a writing correspondence course. Three people answered. It's accredited, has resumes of the teachers, and will give 7 college credits. The price is reasonable. The idea is to teach you to write non-fiction and fiction, and the goal is to write two manuscripts for editing. Question: Should I go through this trouble or is this something I could do myself. I have "raw" talent, but could be improved for sure. Only 30% of applicants are taken. I didn't apply, just wanted to see if I had hope. Can someone please give me advice? How did you get published? This is completely uncharted waters for me.
