Colt <----Totally Alpha Male & Always Asserts his status with a growl to show his place
Luke <----Also Very Alpha Male but doesn't need to prove it unless challenged
Lightening <----is very mild mannered and always tummy's up to alpha(s) also love's his bouncy ball (& toys)
DOG FIGHT!! Holy SHITzoo!! I need a cattle prod now for sure.
I been meaning to buy one.
Colt cannot have toys because he will get hard mouth and hurt birds during trials & hunting. Lightening has a great mouth & he can have toys...
The bouncy ball rested under the couch, I forgot to get it. Colt didn't however....so Colt went to get the ball, I went to get the broom to get the ball & Colt decided to growl about wanting the ball to Lightening. Lightening who never claims a higher status stood up to Colt. This pissed off Colt
& here we go...Dog Fight!! My frikkin gawsh!!
Sooo....guess who go hurt? No not me...
The aggressive alpha Colt. My lil'sweet even tempered Lightening Bug as I call him opened some whoop ass on Colt.
Colt has 2 puncture wounds one in his paw ankle & one on his chest. I am using peroxide & hope to avoid a vet bill.
I will be buying me a cattle prod now. I cannot have them attacking each other. I am so shocked that Lightening did that. Guess maybe Colt will realize they will defend their self. I am new to this situation. But I think a cattle prod will work to break up a fight. it is so utterly vicious I tell you.
Oh and my new addition Pearl, Hell's Fire she is!! She likes to hunt toads...slugs...dragon flies. I have no idea how she catches them dragon flies. She eats them...ewww...
