The Dance

my personal review of 'the dance' by garth brooks, it brings up true meanings for me.
I heard the song 'the dance' by garth brooks for the millionth time, since it was first recorded and it always gets me thinking about the people in my life, and the ones that got lost in yesterday or year, I look back and at times wonder what the few people in my past is doing now, the ones that I met and got to know and then somehow our lives separated and miles came between us, I examine the laughter we shared, the tears we cried, if any, the long quiet walks or the conversations we shared, and then there were some that I shared only in letters and cards, and now those letters and cards are somewhere packed away, eaten away by time and distance, that song makes me want to take a step back in time and give those people a long warm hug, hold them if only for a few moments, to feel their warmth, to hear them breath. That song makes me appreciate the people in my life today even more, because all we have are our moments in life, and we must cherish each moment like it will be our last.
