The Jesus Movement 40 years in

in the late 1960s the Jesus movememt burst onto the scene of the Counterculture. Turning off to drugs ond onto Jesus became the thing. 40 years in, and about 25-30 after the end of the original Jesus Revolutions, A New Generaton of JEsus and Similarly Oriented Entertainemnt is coming out.
2004 With the Passion of the Christ - 2006 With The DaVinci Code. 2009 ANgels and Demons, and the Nativity Story from 2006 , angels and demons and the davinci code being based on books by dan brown.
in the intermittent quarter century or so, we saw great controversy, in "Teh Last Temtptation of Christ" Which was basically "JEsus Christ Superstar" brought up to date. The 80's adn 90's were 20 years of me'isms. The Late 60's and 70s seemd less consumer oriented. Consuemrism is however part of the neo Jesus Revultoin BIG TIME however. as it is part of any other aspect of american culture of the modern era approaching 2010 AD.
