Well, it appears that spring is here. Despite a day of snow about a week ago, the plants, bugs and birds are doing their best to proclaim a change of season.

This morning a coyote gave me the eye and decided that I wasn't a threat. Habituated animals make me nervous as non fear responses (or not vacating the area where a human is) usually signals illness. However she looked pretty normal and didn't trail me or come any closer during my walk.

Anyway, my point of blogging this am is to see if you readers have any input for a panel I am moderating in October. The theme should be about pets and animals in literary works. Do you have any specific questions or comments to throw my way? If so, they might make it into the discussion panel.
