What is this world coming to...

Did you know that April is the month set aside for SAAM (Sexual Abuse Awareness Month)? What is this world coming to...! How sad that we should have to set apart a month to acknowledge the members of our societies that are being sexually violated. Did you also know that 1 out of every 3-4 young girls and 1 out of every 5-6 boys will be sexually abused/assaulted in their lifetime...? Holy Freakin Moly!!! We can not continue to let the perverts of the world get away with this. How dare they take away the innocence of our children! How dare they distort their world view for the rest of their lives! This is something I know about very well.... unfortunately!
We all have an obligation to protect the children in our lives and our neighborhoods.
There is still so much work to be done. Prevention is the key. We must educate early using a straight-forward method and do so without instilling outright fear.
Have you done all that you can to protect your child? Protecting children is my mission that's why I have written two colorful, friendly and age-appropriate Children's Books which virtually serve as a toolbox of information to train and equip children with the necessary skills to avoid sexual violation and/or abduction. They are fundamental teaching tools to be used by parents, guardians, foster care facilities, teachers and therapists. The topic is approached with sensitivity; clear and concise, and leaves nothing to chance. In a society where the growing number of missing and exploited children is reaching epidemic proportions, it is imperative that our children be armed with the right skills to help keep them safe. The importance of this topic can NOT be emphasized enough, as its effect may have life-long consequences. What child should not be given the gift of Safety and Hope?
