Nurtional Values for a Newborn

For all of the new parents, this is a guideline of nutritional values for babies.
Fluid Requirement Calculations:
Age--Full- term newborn. The first 24 hours 0 ml.
2-3 days 50 ml/kg daily
4-10 days 50 to 100 ml/kg daily
Under 1 yr. old 120 to 150 ml/kg daily
1 to 5 yr. 90 to 120ml/kg daily
Over 5 yr. 60 to 90 ml/kg daily
This is accorking to a child's diagnosis and how well hydrated they are.
0 to 1 115 ml/kg daily
1 to 3 1300 ml/kg daily
3 to 6 1000 ml/kg daily
6 to 9 months 2100 ml/kg daily
9 to 12 months 2200 ml/kg daily
12 to 15 months 2500 ml/kg daily
15 to 18 months 2300 to 3400 ml/ kg daily
By 3 to 6 months- You can start adding diluted juices. You can also start feeding your baby cereal and fruit, yellow vegetables, green vegetables, meat,amd mixed puree dinners.
Use a spoon to feed your baby.
6 to 9 months- Give your baby 20 ounces of formula or breastmilk at meal time and at bedtime in there bottle. They can be given solids three times a day, and you can start giving Jr. foods. Use a spoon to feed your baby.Your baby can have diluted juices.It is okay to start giving your child a cup by this time.
9 to 12 months- Give your baby 20 ounces of formula three times a day and at bedtime. Juices can be given as needed. By this time chop all of the baby's food up. This can be table food and they should be given with a spoon.Offer a cup to your baby more often during this time, to start the weaning process.
