As a professional writer, I acquired the habit of working on a number of projects at the same time -- the more diverse the better. I can write whatever suits my mood and, of course, if I strike a problem, I can put a project aside and work on another.
My current projects include a fourth book in the "Bible Wisdom" series. This time, I'm working on "Psalms". By way of contrast, my new movie book will be a guide to "Silent Films and Early Talkies on DVD." It's surprising how many silent movies are available -- at least 500 features (counting duplicated titles) plus over a thousand shorts. Mind you, nothing like this quantity is represented in your local DVD store, but they're available nonetheless. A list of suppliers will be provided in my book. So far I have Sunrise Silents and Grapevine, freemoviesondvd, dvdpacific, Movies Unlimited, Odd Banana and dvdplanet. And yes, I know you can buy some titles at Amazon and other big retailers. But if you can recommend any other firms, please email me.
