What To Write Next

What to write next is always a major concern with me. But perhaps I should say, what to work on next, because I'm always working on a number of books at once.
I do need to follow up the mild success of MYSTERY, SUSPENSE, FILM NOIR AND DETECTIVE MOVIES ON DVD with a similar title in this series.
I thought of WESTERNS. There's certainly no shortage of product on this front with both famous titles like "My Darling Clementine" (and "The Searchers") and totally obscure product like Ken Maynard's "Fargo Express" (1933) well represented.
I mention "Fargo Express" deliberately, because it's a movie that deserves wider recognition -- and it's available in an absolutely superb print from Alpha. As I've said frequently before (but it bears repeating), why pay $29.95 for a DVD when you can buy a superior disc in the $5 bin?
And this of course is exactly what my book MYSTERY, SUSPENSE, FILM NOIR AND DETECTIVE MOVIES ON DVD is all about. In fact, in some cases, you can even buy superior pressings of exactly the same $29.95 title in the $2 bin!
