Disco anyone?

Contrary to what you would expect...
True, dying is on my mind a lot these days, what with Charles getting worse every day but I'm not feeling morbid like you would imagine. I want to celebrate life, get more exercise, spend more time with the grandkids. Hell, I even feel like going dancing but some research showed that there are no more discos in St Louis. Yeah, the last new dance I learned was the Bus Stop. Thanks to that and some early experience doing the polka, I can hold my own in a line dance or two-step around a country song pretty well but you know what I really like? Hip hop....its the greatest style of dancing since the Charleston, so full of energy and life. Can I do it? Be real. My granddaughter who is seven going on thirty, says it is all about popping. I'm not sure what that is but I think it is accomplished by massive doses of electricity to various parts of the body. I watch, it makes me feel so alive and full of energy, all that explosion of body parts going in different directions at once, I want to get up and dance so bad. Luckily I've learned some control over the years, I stay in my seat and watch. But if I could do anything new in my life, it would be learning to hip hop (I found out that you can't say doing the hip hop, thats something bunnies do at Easter). But hey, I'm alive, I'm happy, I'm watching this weeks 'So you think you can dance' to get my thrills vicariously and saving my lower back at the same time...what more can a grandma want...
