Honesty / Dishonesty

You know the more material things you own, the more you're owned by those things. Why then is there an economic meltdown? Honesty translates into mental health; dishonesty into mental illness (remember Bernie madoff?). When simplicity of life and humility cross-fertilize, a life becomes transformed, not to mention recession-proof.
In the business world, it would be expedient to neutralize self-sabotaging impulses; to focus on elimination, not acquisition. Diverse weights and measures are the only reason for the current economic meltdown. Simpletons may be defined as fools in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, but truth be told, they have FEW worldly cares to weigh them down.
