Oh No... 8.5 CARATS! Nice Doorknob Ring!

Well, guess you know I had to be driven to the hospital (chauffeured no less!) as the pain in my side was driving my partner to drink...(like he needs a reason?).... anyway...
Turned out I had these darn KIdney Stones... too big to pass they said... but of course they explain this to me while I'm groggy..in absolute pain and agony, and you know I was dying when I didn't hear the doc say EIGHT AND A HALF !!!!! Well, sure..8.5 plus kidney stone is pretty darn fat...(but you didn't expect less from me did you?...Texas size for a Texas Magnolia like me!)... and guess what? They cart me into surgery, and THEN...it hits me.... I could have made a really fantastic doorknob of a ring for my finger!!!! So what if it isn't a pretty color... I am an artist...right! So... I've heard of spray paint cans...haven't you? I could have hotglued the huge rock onto a ring...then...I would have spray painted it a nice color...like.... Icy White Bling Bling!! and... it was TOO LATE!!! Talk about a bummer! Well, I doubt I'll hold my breath waiting for another one of these ROCKS to rock my world... so guess I'll just have to pray really hard that some fantastic guy will say..."Where has she been all my life...? She should have a nice mansion, and a huge ROCK on her finger.. :-))) Okay... I can dream can't I??? It can happen!!
I went to work today too... Got home last nite from the hospital and am such a dedicated employee that I was there at 8 am.... and worked straight thru til 3pm... however...I will have to go back again tomorrow for a few hours to finish up... such dedication, right? Go ahead, say so!
By the way... thank you all for the wonderful prayers and good thoughts that were sent my way!! In case you have tons of extra loot...like the green cash kind... and you want to send it my way....just let me know, and I'll be happy to open an account with one of the many banks that didn't go KAPUT during the past few months.... so that you can deposit your extra funds into an account for me!!! I want to make it easy for you.... :-))
Ok... guess that's it for now... I'm feeling the temp go up again... you know.... a slight fever.... so better go take a shower and cool off a tad!
Take care of yourselves...and know that I sure do miss you all...and thank you for thinking of me... I get all teary sometimes when I read your sweet notes...and realize how blessed I am having you as my special AD friends!
