Abducted by Doggy Aliens?
4/1/2009 2:35:20 AM
Where have you been?
My dog came home yesterday morning. After 3 days, he finally wandered up the driveway. He's neutered, so I knew it wasn't Spring fever. He seems fine, but I can't stop wondering where he's been. He hasn't lost weight and he looks like he does every day, other than being tired. Maybe he was abducted by doggy aliens? I joked with my husband about that one. The only telltale sign that helps us deduce what might have happened is that he has chain marks, the deposits from the chain, on both sides of his neck, so he must have been stolen. He's a good dog, but he's a mutt. Why would they do that? Anyhow, little did they know that his neck is way bigger than his head, which makes it easy for him to slip through a collar or any other retraint. He's the type for a harness. He's glad to be home, but very tired. I wonder how far he had to walk to get back? Who would have done such a thing? Why? He talks to me with a smile every evening when I get home, so what would he tell me if he could speak my language? That he was abducted by doggy aliens, that it was the worst experience of his life and that I just don't realize how glad he is to be home now! I think I do, because I'm ecstatic that he's home.
