Amazing Creation by J-me (Part 3)

Genesis 1:3-4
• Genesis 1:3-4, "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness."
Why did God create light? God did not create the light so that he could see.
• Psalm 139:12, "Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee."
It is evident that nothing can be hidden from God. So why create light? The light is so that we can see God. The light that was first created is the light of salvation. God loves us so much that he created salvation before anything else!!
• II Corinthians 4:6, "For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
This light is not a physical light, but a spiritual light. Before sin entered into the world God already provided for us his great salvation. How great is his love toward us.
God separated the light from the darkness. This is the first great separation of creation:
LIGHT from darkness
Holiness from godlessness
Righteousness from sin
Salvation from condemnation
God in these verses is stating that before sin arrived he provided the Way to himself. Our salvation through Jesus Christ is foremost on the mind of God. His love is never ending.
