Jeff Peckman and the Metaphysical Aspects of UFOs

I have been wondering why I haven’t heard anything more from Mr. Peckman since his Denver ballot initiative. Apparently he is waiting on the Obama administration to follow through on its statement to create a UFO-based White House Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission (see link, below). While not wanting to seem the negativist, I don’t believe in letting anything else take over ones initial actions. I believe in doing things in parallel. For example, I don’t just leave an e-mail...I make a phone call. Tell associates I’m interested in contacting someone. It’s kinda the shotgun effect. Yes, there may be some duplication of effort, but only up to a point. Whatever may be the Obama administration’s ulterior goal, here, in affairs-UFO, there are obviously way too many other things that have recently taken precedence. I leave it to the Conspiracy Theorists as to whether this was orchestrated or, well, “something else”....
Personally, I’m not convinced that everyone has the need-to-know about what may or may not be going on--and no, we can’t even be told why, because that would flag the very knowledge that is being hidden. I’m not saying what is being done is right or just or anything else...just that things are done for a REASON, and some of those reasons, whether metaphysical or down-to-earth, come about for, well, a reason. Just because we are human does not mean we have a right to know EVERYTHING. Because, at our certain and specific level of physical existence, we see what happens to some when they “know” things. The old saw “absolute power corrupts absolutely” and Jack Nicholson’s line “You can’t HANDLE the truth!” are not idle statements. People have been known to go crazy after finding out about certain bits of knowledge. Have been known to say “What’s the use?” and give up living. I don’t believe it is a matter of telling all. I do believe that it might more be a matter of delivering bits and pieces along the way, so people (and mental and spiritual development along the way) can DEVELOP the ability to handle whatever it is that is being hidden. That it is more of a matter of metaphysical development in all of humanity. How we create our lives, our reality, and what we THINK is so much more important. What we think impacts all of our lives in every way. Nothing is trivial in that respect. I think of it like this: in the mental or nonphysical world, we have a thought. That thought is what it is there, but to translate it into physical existence it has to somehow materialize itself there from the nonphysical. Become physical. Since the corporeal, the physical, has its own rules and such (just as the nonphysical does, but if those rules were exactly the same there would be no difference between the two, now, would there?), this thought then has to somehow insert itself, but by doing so it will probably not be exactly as it is in the nonphysical world. Think of it like this: you make a shape with your hand--any shape (or even take some object...). Look at it examine it, even change it. Really get the feel of it. Now, thrust that shape into a stretched piece of latex or a balloon skin. Does it look exactly like it did before? No, it’s “muffled.” Covered. Distorted. Like a face: make a smiley face...actually smile and try to make as pleasant and friendly a smile as possible. Now thrust that smiley face into that same balloon skin or piece of latex...and what you get is something out of a horror movie.
That’s my point. Things-nonphysical translated into the physical don’t always well mirror each other for whatever reason. Now apply this to thought, ideas, and what have you and maybe you can better understand the spiritual growth of humanity. Further applying this thought exercise, I suggest that all this corruption, secrecy, and every other “bad thing” out there (this also applies to GOOD, too) is the result of nonphysical issues we all have. So, whether or not we every really find out what’s going on in any area of interest we all have (UFOs, the economy, Dancing with the Stars...), the important thing--I feel--is how we deal with each other. How we learn and grow individually and as a race. Fix how you think and act, and the rest will--eventually--come.
That’s the long and the short of it for this post.
