Fellow writer asking for your support 4/4/2010 12:30:02 AM Next Top Spiritual Author Hi everyone
I am asking for your support...
The Next Top Spiritual Author Competition is OPEN to voters! And I would very much appreciate the support of my fellow writers and poets. I have entered the competition with my visionary fiction manuscript, DIMENSION'S DOORWAY, which was a Merit Award winner in the 2005 Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Unpublished Manuscript Award. The judges described it as a "highly original novel". I went on to win the award the following year with another manuscript, THE KEY, which has been submitted to a publisher in America.
The Next Top Spiritual Author Competition involves four rounds. In round one, participants submit a 2-3 minute audio or video pitch of their novel. In round two participants submit a proposal. In rounds three and four they submit chapters of the manuscript. To proceed through the rounds participants need voter support - to get through to round two they need to be amongst the 250 with the most number of votes.
Pitches are up and voting has begun. You do need to register to vote, but it is pretty quick and simple. This link will take you to my profile: http://www.NextTopAuthor.com/?aid=566
The synopsis of my novel is on my website if you would like to read it www.robynmspeed.com/novel-doorway.htm
What I need to do – and what I am TRYING to do – is to motivate as many people as possible to support me, and to vote for me.
Around 3000 people have entered this, so there is a lot of competition. This round is not based on the quality of the writing, it is VOTER based. It is not a case of the best 250 going through, it is a case of the 250 with the most votes. I have until the 3rd May, at which time voting for round one closes. If I am one of the top 250 then I will proceed to round two. If I am not one of that group, then my journey ends.
Please support me in this and please draw in as much other support as you can. Feel free to forward my pleas/request to as many people as you can …. I am not above begging!! I believe, completely, in myself and in my manuscript, and I will back us both to the maximum…if I am not prepared to do that then I have no business even entering the competition. Success is going to rely on a massive GROUP effort, and when I get through I will be acknowledging that help loudly and clearly. I DO appreciate each and every one of you, and each and every vote.
I need your help. I cannot do this without you.
With the greatest of appreciation
Robyn
