A look back

I posted quiet a few older works today. I spent most of my time re-reading things from years and years ago and asking myself "Why the hell did you write that" or "Oh, I had forgot about that till now". It was overall very enjoyable but a few brought back sad or painful memories. One in particular[if I didn't post it today, I will later] titled This House. The prompting for the poem came several years after high school when a class mate I had always been secretly envious of confided that the perfect picture her family painted was not so perfect. I had no idea! I'm not even sure why she told me all of that but my heart ached for her and still does. I don't know where she is now or how her life turned out but I say a prayer for her. I never confessed to being envious, I wasn't that mature at the time.
