001.LOVE IS...

Love is totally without hate
And does not discriminate.

Love is the uniting force
That abhores any divorce.
Love fills the heart with desire
Kindling an endless fire.
Love makes the Majestic call
That with one word...says it All.
Love's the Alchemist's dream
And does the light of Truth...beam.

Love gives the Power to see...
With out it...where would we be.

Love with just...a gentle smile
Does every soul...beguile.

Love is the only language
That is favoured by the Sage.
Love's rays eternally grow
And in far reaches...does glow.
Love is a powerfull thing
And makes the heart...truly sing.
Love passively conquers all
And every soul...does enthral.

Love does all conflicts resolve
Helping Human-Kind evolve.

Love reaches all living things
Giving the Angels ...their Wings.

002. HAIKUS X 6

Sentient and seeing... Is this material being... But is now fleeing

Our perceptions are...Mere shadows and reflections... Of reality

Time and distance are...Totally irrelevant... In this Quantum World

Searching for the Truth ...Is like polishing coal... To make a mirror

On the shore's edge with...Fishing line sitting all day... And catching nothing

The stage is all set...And we discuss this and that... Waiting for GODOT

003. HAIKUS X 6

On the Penzance train...Constantly persued by the... Hovering full-moon

Thousands of pebbles...Each one unique...such riches...Here on Albion's shores

To fly or to die...Day of reckoning for the... Fledgeling Jack-daw

Look metal from the...Titanic...says a child...At play on the beach

Mind is not a vessel...To be filled...but a Fire To be kindled

Eight thousand equals...The sum of three cubes and is... It self a CUBE

004. HAIKUS X 6

From these ravaged lands...Pining for the sweet taste from...The fruit of Reason

Loathsome it may be...But are we more innocent...Than he...the cockroach

All may plainly see...An innocent man he be... This man of poverty

A rain-bow and a...Solitary sea-gull greet... This wet winters morn

Life's an Idiot's tale...Full of sound and fury that... Signifies nothing

This Itinerant...Vagabond's is just another...Yamabushi

005. HAIKUS X 6

How can you sleep...Early in the morning and... Mis the dawn chorus

Ever so gentle...The sound of a hungry chick... This early spring morn

Time passes by....Sometimes fast sometimes sluggish...It's never boring

That young hungry chick...Is rapidly learning a... Soothing repertoire

The ephemeral...Here today gone tomorrow... Everlasting joy

Waiting for a bus...And watching two sluggs racing... Across the wet road

006.Broken Bolder Beach.

With a rugged beauty that defies
All those far-off and harried cries
Yet beckons...the Aesthete's eyes.
Woodland girths its scenic surround
Broken by the stream's wispering sound
The crowds...they are not to be found.
Tis just a jaunt along the coast
And is a very resourceful host
That through the most.
Here to Nature become entwined
In this rare jewel of a find
That is divinely blessed and enshrined.
Going with the Tao to reach
The One who with-out words does teach...
Here on Broken Bolder Beach.

007.HAIKUS X 4

All may plainly see
An innocent man he be...
This man of poverty

Life's an Idiot's tale
Full of sound and fury that...
Signifies nothing

Hedge-rows in Winter
Like worn out tooth-brushes...skirt
Newly furrowed fields

The mildest Winter
On record and the Fushias...
Are still in full blume

Toing and frowing
Along the sea shore...seagulls
Looking for tit-bits

Shelter from the rain
In the Library again...
Catch the haiku train

008.Days End

The sun hides far away

Children go home from play

Colours …. they all turn grey

Tis no cause for dismay

At the closing of day

The chirping birds do sway

One to repose . . . and pray.

009.A noble Truth

Idealists can't go to war and kill
But when driven too far surely will.

And by degrees their souls...slowly chill
Destroying their very sense of will.

Blindly driven to unseen peril
They battle upon a nameless hill.

A noble truth they try to instil
With corpses awaiting...graves to fill.

010.Soul Search

Looking up with leaden eyes
To the One above the skies…
Seeking comfort from the lies
And the never ending cries.

So these lost souls search in vain
Upon the arrid terrain…
Deprived of the healing rain
They become immune to pain.

There to Paradise they go
For in their hearts…they all know
There’s no one that can bestow
Relief to the…very low.

011.Starry Night

Darkness descends and all is quiet
On this very crisp starry night.

Like a beam of light traveling
The Heavens...with-out begining.

Endlessly persuing life's quest
With out reward and with out rest.

Not fearing the dark and unknown
Accepting what fate has thrown. the smallest of things
Beauty...with the joy that it brings.

Being a grain of sand
Held in a child'e enquiring hand.

Surrendering with-out a fight
On this very still...starry night.

With it...destitute urchins
In the street skip and sing;
In a field a tethered horse full of loathing.

With it...on a mountain side
A fallen climber does cling;
The Mighty Golliath falls
By a stone from David's sling.

With it...hung from the gallows
A man's body is swinging;
The Gordian's Knot...was for

With it...puppets move their limbs
That we all find...Amusing;
A monk...with his begging bowl
Also needs..."a piece of string".

The packaging pristine;
But inside the goods are damaged.

It's all an act.. just a show;
But inside you'r damaged goods.

You are glamorous...confident;
But inside you'r damaged goods.

You'r on the watching;
Nobody wants damaged goods.

But very deep inside;
An innocent child...does reside.

A lofty spire
Does pierce the sky;
With joy They sing
To one on High.

Such was the sound
That filled the air;
It reached all souls
That felt despair.

The Mighty Throng
Did face their God;
And he in turn
Did give his nod.

Blessing all with
A gracious smile;
Bringing Peace that
Non could defile.

Such was the strength
Of the Breth-ren;
They did A-spire...

It's a crying shame
Some souls have no name;
shall never know fame
And have no real claim.

A name's just a name
A Dame's just a Dame;
Paintings in a frame
Receive full acclaim.

Some people do claim
We're not all the same;
Though some strive for fame
And shall...others maim.

Investors do claim
Profits from A-name;
If it's all the same
I prefer No-name.

It's the Poet's aim
The heathens to tame;
And those with A-name
By stealth: Inflame.

Men in High Towers
Are praying for showers;
While things on the ground
And very far from sound.

There's talk in the bowers
To give greater powers;
To people all around
That Justice may abound.

On this land The Growers
Do pick sacred flowers;
With True Faith they have found
They can truly astound.

The men in their Towers
Do still pray...for showers;
The drought does still confound
Free Souls are...onward bound.

Kicked in the head
And left for dead.

Yet here i am
This is no sham.

A man like you
Not...well to-do.

But with desires
That one acquires.

From progress made
By honest trade.

Tis sad to say
There's some dismay.

But joy is found...
Love does abound.

It must be said
I'm not yet...Dead.
