It is just 10 days before my son marries again
I have just returned from collecting rose petals to throw over the "Happy Couple"who will marry on 6 June next month. My son is now 40 years old and was previously married in 1997. He was living in Minnesota. His first marriage ended with 9/11 when his first wife fell into a deep depression after that disastrous event.
I just hope this second marriage will be happy. His bride to be is so different from his first - matter of fact and very practical. She loves to cook and adores Koko chocolate. She is also highly intelligent and is part of a medical team at the ANU, Canberra.Should the weather be kind, the marriage will take place by a lake. Guests are advised to dress 'warm'. Hope all goes well. I shall be packing thermals should the weather turn chilly. Hope the rose petals last long enough to be used at the ceremony.
